Practice and Process
Swedish-born visual artist Jenny Lundgren (b. 1975) holds an MFA from the University of Applied Arts Vienna (1999–2004) and lives and works in Sweden and Austria.
Moving within abstraction, she explores memory, light, and the quiet drama of everyday objects through layered paint. Her studio practice balances intuitive mark-making with careful observation to create intimate, atmospheric works.
She has participated in solo and group exhibitions in e.g. Sweden, Denmark, Australia and Austria, has worked with public art, and is represented in several regional and municipal collections in Sweden as well as in Austria.
